Tas: Police sink yatch as part of training exercise

HOBART, Feb 23 AAP - Police have sunk a yacht off Betsy Island as part of a training
exercise in Tasmania's south.

Acting Deputy Commissioner Darren Hin, said the 10-metre steel yacht was sunk using
explosives yesterday and would be recovered today.

He said the yacht would be examined when it was recovered from the sea bed.
