Q: I use a wine fridge/cooler to keep my wines and set the temperature to about 13 degrees Celsius. Although the fridge has a temperature control, it does not have a meter to show the humidity. I have put my own thermometer/hydrometer inside. The temperature reading is consistent with the fridge's and the hydrometer shows about 50 to 60 per cent humidity. Is this the ideal humidity for wine? I had earlier complained to the manufacturer and had the fridge replaced as my first one ...
