NSW: RTA to audit black spots

SYDNEY, Feb 19 AAP - The NSW government has announced an audit of accident black spots
in the greater Sydney area.

New Roads Minister Eric Roozendaal today said he had directed the Roads and Traffic
Authority (RTA) to audit the black spots following community concerns.

Mr Roozendaal said the black spots were dangerous for drivers but also caused delay
for commuters and increased insurance premiums.

"I've asked (the RTA) to analyse the causes of accidents at these black spots, to be
sure that we are prioritising our ...
