Urban Rhythms; A suitable salute for a villain

It is the Year of Our Lord 2003 and the statue of Roger Brooke Taney sits
in its place of honor across from the statue of George Washington in
Baltimore's Mount Vernon Square.
The Taney statue shows a man with a thin, sour-looking face, a hooked nose,
humorless mouth and beady little rodent eyes. I look at this presumably
flattering likeness of the fifth Chief Justice of the United States and the
phrase "anal-retentive" comes to mind.
