I'm pleased to announce that the Federal Trade Commission has
reached a settlement with ChoicePoint, Inc., regarding the privacy and
security of consumer information.
The settlement includes a $10 million civil penalty and a $5
million fund for consumer redress, as well as a strong injunction that
