I thought I might do something appropriate to the 4th of July. To grease
the wheels of creativity, I looked on the Internet and found some
interesting trivia--nothing there of real importance.

I read again the Declaration of Independence, paying attention to the list
of grievances the founders used to justify their defiance of British rule.
I reacquainted myself with the beautiful rationale of the document, feeling
impressed once again with the perfection of the thought that has gone into
the document, ruminated on how farsighted it was, how inclusive, how ...
