Columbus Regional SportsCare hosted its fifth annual Middle School Scholar
Athlete Banquet Tuesday, May 3 at 11:30 a.m. at the Columbus Regional
Conference Center at The Medical Center. The 2005 awards will be given to
42 middle school scholar athletes in the Muscogee, Harris, Russell and Lee
County area schools, along with Fort Benning. The Scholar Athletes, a male
and female student from each school, were chosen on the merits of
academics, leadership and athletics and were nominated by their coaches and
principals.
