Mack Takes Over Reins as President of the Los Angeles Police Commission

On Tuesday the newly appointed members of the Los Angeles Police Commission
took their places alongside Alan Skobin the only remaining member of the
James Hahn administration.
One of the new board's first orders of business was the unanimous election
of recently retired Los Angeles Urban League President John W. Mack as
president and Hahn holdover Skobin, vice president and general counsel for
Galpin Motors, as vice president of the five-member commission.
Mack becomes the 49th person to hold the president's position of the
commission that oversees ...
