It was all or nothing at Mackenzie High School's new football field.
As the Detroit Public School League (PSL) reaches its apex, all are
fighting for their playoff lives. No game was any more important than the
battle between the Mackenzie Stags and the Henry Ford Trojans.
Henry Ford was in the midst of a solid season, after being somewhat down
since winning the PSL championship in 2001. Coach Mike Marshall and his
charges have been one of the pleasant surprises in the league this season,
coming into this contest with a credible 4-2 record.
