His Holiness Aram I recently praised the president of the Department of
Armenian Affairs of the Gulbenkian Foundation, Dr. Michael Yessaian on the
occasion of the latter' retirement.

In a letter he sent to Dr. Yessaian, His Holiness Aram I highlighted the
continuous hard work carried out by the director with dedication and an
outright expression of love for the nation. He pointed out that Dr.
Yessaian's activities have contributed to the survival and enhancement of
the main Armenian communities in the Diaspora.
