The French Coast Guard rescued 22 people, including three children, who were stranded after their boat's motor failed, a maritime rescue agency said Wednesday.
The 17 Cubans, three Dominicans and two people from Antigua were picked up Tuesday night near Guadeloupe's Iles des Saintes after they issued a distress call, according to COSMA, a Martinique-based maritime rescue center.
