Quarter Horse Association Committee on House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee
on Oversight and Investigations November 17, 2005 Good afternoon. Thank
you for the opportunity to appear at this hearing on behalf of the American
Quarter Horse Association. I am Dick Monahan, Chair of the AQHA`s Racing
Council. I have been involved in American Quarter Horse Racing as an owner
and breeder since 1970. Since 1975 I have been involved in the management
