Ningbo to Have 3 More Railways within 15 Years

NINGBO, Oct 18, 2005 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- The Ministry of Railways of China invited related departments of Ningbo City on October 11, 2005 to hold a conference to study the plan to turn Ningbo into a railway hub.

According to the plan, the Ningbo-Taizhou-Wenzhou Railway is set to complete by 2010. The Hangzhou-Ningbo inner-city high-speed railway and the Ningbo-Jinhua Railway will be put into use by 2020. The Hangzhou Bay Transoceanic Railway and the Ningbo-Zhoushan Railway will start operation in 2050.
