Qld: Virgin Blue is unconsciously ageist: court

BRISBANE, Oct 10 AAP - Virgin Blue is considering an appeal against a court ruling
that the airline discriminated against female flight attendant applicants because they
were too old.

A claim by eight former Ansett flight attendants, aged 35 to 55, that they were overlooked
by Virgin Blue because they weren't young or attractive enough was upheld in Brisbane
today by the Queensland Anti-Discrimination Tribunal.
