This season of Clipper basketball begins with much anticipation. The team
has not only drafted some great talent but also announced the opening of
their $20 million training facility, which will open in Playa Vista in
September 2006. A big knock on the Clippers, over the years, seemed to
surface when Kobe Bryant was a free agent was the issue of money or
investment. The Clippers have had a tendency to draft great college
standouts from winning college programs yet have not invested in anything
