Fed: Malcolm Fraser's family helped Polgar into country
SYDNEY, Aug 25 AAP - A Hungarian man under investigation for his connections with the
Nazis is a long-time friend of former prime minister Malcolm Fraser, who's family helped
him become an Australian citizen.
Lajos Polgar, who changed his named and lied about his age when he came to Australia
to avoid being linked to the fascist Hungarian regime of World War II, said Mr Fraser's
father-in-law Standford Beggs and his wife Helen were his "Australian parents" and backed
