The man who conquered the world, Pandit Ravi Shankar, on his granddaughter
It was Kavi who had told me her grandfather Pandit Ravi Shankar would love
to talk to me. "Anything for me, they said," Kavi had giggled.
So what does the sitar maestro wish for his beautiful and talented
granddaughter?
"I cannot plan anything," says Ravi Shankar softly. "My wish is that Kavi
should continue to learn dance and flourish in it. I have seen her perform
and think she is wonderful. It would be a shame to see such talent go
