NSW: Girl loses trail ride negligence claim

SYDNEY, June 23 AAP - A girl who suffered serious head injuries after falling from
a horse during a trail ride has lost her bid for compensation.
Five-year-old Tali Ohlstein was caught in the stirrups and lost her helmet as she was
dragged beside her spooked horse during a trail ride accident in 1998 in Otford on NSW's
south coast.
The now 12-year-old today lost her bid for compensation in the NSW Supreme Court, with
Justice Michael Grove ruling there had been no negligence on the part of ...
