Friday, June 17, 2005 -- Disengagement from Gaza and four communities in northern Samaria will strengthen the Galilee and the Negev as well as Jerusalem and its environs, Prime Minister Areil Sharon declared on Thursday.

Sharon, speaking at a conference in Karmiel on developing the Galilee, was also adamant that the planned pullout would go ahead on schedule.
