TEACHERS should be grateful and put their hearts into quality teaching

instead of grumbling that they have to spend a few hours with students in
school on Saturdays and not be paid for it (NST, June 1).

They should not be demoralised if they are not paid to go that extra

mile.

Teachers should be indebted to the Government that they enjoy perks

such as better pay, opportunities to further their studies, free

textbooks for their children, longer holidays and ...
