SA: SA spends $140m to win destroyer contract

ADELAIDE, May 20 AAP - South Australia is spending $140 million in its bid to win the
$6 billion navy destroyer contract.

SA Premier Mike Rann said $120 million was being spent on infrastructure at the Osborne
Maritime Precinct.

A further $16 million was going towards increasing the skills of SA's workforce, including
an onsite Maritime Skills Centre, and $8 million would be spent on various workforce and
skilled migration programs to attract workers.
