Cycle: Cooke suffering after crash
L'AQUILA, Italy, May 12 Reuters-AAP - Australian cyclist Baden Cooke was in "agony"
a day after his controversial crash in the Tour of Italy.
The former Tour de France green jersey winner was also yet to speak to Olympic champion
Paolo Bettini, the rider who was relegated from winner to last in stage four for his role
in Cooke's accident.
Cooke and his Australian lieutenant in the Francaise Des Jeux team, Matt Wilson, finished
in the back group on the 223km fifth stage from Celano to L'Aquila.
