Cycle: Di Luca snatches Giro lead on home ground

L'AQUILA, Italy, May 12 Reuters - Riding on familiar territory, Italy's Danilo Di Luca
won the fifth stage of the Giro d'Italia on Thursday which propelled him into the race
leader's pink jersey.
The Liquigas rider triumphed at the end of the uphill sprint in the centre of L'Aquila
ahead of compatriot Marzio Bruseghin and Colombia's Mauricio Ardila.
Australians Robbie McEwen and Stuart O'Grady both finished well back in the pack, 47
seconds behind Di Luca.
