Gupta sells Speedera to Akamai for $130 million

Ajit Gupta, who founded Speedera Networks in 1999 in Silicon Valley, late
in March sold his company to Akamai Technologies in a stock for stock
merger transaction valued at approximately $130 million.
Gupta, President and Chief Executive Officer, Speedera Networks, said an
agreement has been signed for Akamai to acquire his company, including all
outstanding common stock, preferred stock and vested and unvested stock
