RU: NSW and Qld support ARU reform to reduce their power

SYDNEY, April 28 AAP - The powerful NSW and Queensland rugby unions today gave their
support to constitutional reform which will see their representation reduced on the major
national decision making bodies.

A firm timetable for the reform was set with NSW and Queensland to put the matter before
their constituents in May prior to a special resolution being voted on by the Australian
Rugby Union (ARU) Board at its mid-year meeting in August.
