Midfielder Yohan Demont scored one goal and set up another Saturday to help 17th-place Ajaccio upset host Marseille 2-1 in the French first division.

Demont gave Ajaccio the lead in the 25th minute when he picked up a long pass that flew over Marseille defender Abib Beye and coolly shot it past goalkeeper Fabien Barthez.

In the 53rd, Demont rounded Marseille's Salomon Olembe and sent a powerful cross to the head of Marcelo Edson, who scored the second goal.
