No more non-Malay classics on Klasik FM radio

KUALA LUMPUR, Thurs. - RTM has stopped including non-Malay classics on
the playlist of its Klasik FM radio station as of today.
Klasik FM, which was once called Radio Irama Melayu Asli (Rima) FM,
began playing golden oldies and classics of other languages to spice up
its main offering of traditional Malay and Malay classics since April 1.
But this incurred objections from many sides, including ministers, who
saw it as a dilution of the station's aim to preserve traditional Malay
music.
