Xining Invests CNY1.32bn in Water Conservancy
XINING, Apr 01, 2005 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Xining City, capital of Qinghai Province in northwestern China, totally invested CNY 1.32 billion in 547 water conservancy projects from 2000 to 2004, 164 of the total investment in the city's water conservancy dating from 1949 to 1999.
Approximately CNY 800 million of the investment from 2000 to 2004 came from China's treasury bonds and various investments for special projects, while about CNY 520 million was raised bythe municipal government of Xining.
