Ford Motor Company Rekindles Relationship With George Washington Carver, Sponsors Exposition

The Atlanta Area Ford Dealers and Ford Motor Company are sponsoring "The
Genius of George Washington Carver". The exhibit was launched with a ribbon
cutting on January 5 to commemorate George Washington Carver Day. The
ribbon cutting took place at the semi permanent structure created for this
exhibit and installed at Mall at Stonecrest entrance to Rich's lower level.
This National Day was posthumously awarded to Dr. Carver by President
Franklin D. Roosevelt. Speakers at the ribbon cutting included, Dekalb
County Schools Superintendent Crawford Lewis, State Senator ...
