Mall To Host Major Tribute To Dr. George Washington Carver

Stonecrest Mall will play host to a three month celebration of the life and
legacy of Dr. George Washington Carver from January 5 to March 1. The event
is made possible by Wonderland Gardens, a not for profit year round green
space destination in DeKalb County, Georgia. The exposition will
reintroduce the public to the myriad accomplishments of this great American
inventor. Most are aware that the scientific contributions of Dr. Carver
led to multiple uses of the peanut. In addition, Dr. Carver's research led
to thousands of other uses for plants and plant extracts.
