During the eve of the 60s, legendary pastor and songstress Shirley Caesar
began her career as a singer with the Caravans, singing from her spirit
while spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. It was in 1966 that she
established a dynamic contemporary sound that would open the doors for a
generation that would take gospel music to new heights.
