First of two parts

America has always attributed bedrock significance to freedom and justice.
Now, with George W. Bush and cohorts invoking "freedom" and "justice" ad
nauseam, it's past time to examine of these concepts from an African
American perspective. (Last week, the CIA's Iraq Survey Group ended its
search for WMD. Bush says based on what he knows today, he would take the
same action "because it was about protecting the American people".
