Friday, February 11, 2005 -- There's something about chocolate that inspires fantasies.

Chocolate has long been considered an aphrodisiac. "It is said that the Aztec ruler Montezuma drank fifty cups of chocolate a day... usually before visiting his harem," wrote Carole Bloom in All About Chocolate (Macmillan, 1998) and added that in Quiche Maya culture, the bride and groom exchanged cacao beans during the marriage ceremony to signify their acceptance of each other.
