The National Conference of Artists (NCA) New York Chapter will present a
Black History Month Celebration, "Black History Makers in Art" awards and
panel discussions, on Feb. 4 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Grace
Rainey Rogers Auditorium and Feb. 5 at Columbia University's Davis
Auditorium.

This will mark the first year of Black History Makers Awards. Eight makers
of history have been selected to receive this year's awards; David C.
Driskell, Elizabeth Catlett, Paul R. Jones, Danny Simmons, Lorenzo Pace,
Dr. Margaret Burroughs, Voza Rivers and Dr. Barbara Ann ...
