Uttar Pradesh's session was meant to focus on exports, imports and
turnovers in the state. But it ended up to be a parade of Bollywood stars
led by Amitabh Bachchan. As icing on the glamour cake, Uttar Pradesh Chief
Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav announced setting up of a college named after
Bachchan. At the PBD, 15 states held parallel sessions to tell the
delegates about the investment scope in their state, but with Bachchan as
its brand ambassador, UP clearly stole the show.
