NT: NT to finally get Environmental Protection Agency
DARWIN, Feb 18 AAP - The Northern Territory will finally get an Environmental Protection Agency.
"The NT has one of the greatest environments in the world - yet we are the only state
or territory without an EPA," Environment Minister Marion Scrymgour said.
"It's now time we had one."
The core function of the EPA will be to help developers and industry understand and
adhere to environmental regulations.
