Statement of Mike Johanns Secretary of Agriculture Committee on House Appropriations
Subcommittee on Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration,
and Related Agencies February 16, 2005 Mr. Chairman and distinguished members
of this Committee, it is indeed a great honor for me to appear before you
as Secretary of Agriculture to discuss the fiscal year 2006 budget for
the Department of Agriculture (USDA). I am joined today by Steve Dewhurst,
