San Antonio offers a tour of the Old West - and new
With the election over, Crawford, Texas - which President Bush calls home -
is bound to get more tourists.
But it's not the only Texas city on vacationers' radar these days.
Visiting San Antonio is like stepping into a John Wayne movie. With cowboys
in 10-gallon hats, the scene of barbecued ribs grilling outdoors, the pride
in the wide open spaces - pardner, you are in Texas country!
The city has a big-city/smalltown feel - at once vast and wide, yet
comfortable and friendly in an old-fashioned way. ...
