Our attempt here is to discuss these two important figures and their roles
in history, especially as related to Al-Islam. In America today it is
almost impossible to discuss Al-Islam with non-Muslims without explaining
the difference between these two men.

Prophet Muhammed (prayers and peace be upon him) was born in 570 A.D. in
what is now called Saudi Arabia. This makes the Muslim religion about 1,300
years old at the time of the birth of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad who was
born near Sandersville, Ga., in the year 1897, with the name Elijah ...
