The actor often called the greatest of his generation has a new film this week. Robert De Niro is in a horror thriller called "Hide and Seek." Critics and fans are intrigued and sometimes perplexed by his roles and choices. Here's DAY TO DAY's Mike Pesca.

THE most notable thing when Robert De Niro enters the room is just how normal he looks. There is a case to say, 'Why wouldn't he?'. Behind it all he's just a regular guy, but it's the level of normality that's the most striking thing. He could be your friend's dad, the guy at the next table in a restaurant, or the man in the golf club.
