Florida A & M University will have at least three candidates among the 790
participating in the Fall commencement exercises who will make history.
They will become the first to earn Ph.D.'s in Environmental Science and
Electrical Engineering.
"I can't tell you how proud I am of the two students who will receive a
Ph.D. in environmental sciences; this program was one of the primary
reasons that I came to Florida A & M University, to see our first graduates
for this program," said FAMU Provost, Larry Robinson, who was formerly the
