I've written enough speculative "After Arafat" columns and editorials over
the years to know not to count the Palestinian leader out until he is
really gone. And even after he is dead he will be a thorn in Israel's side,
most immediately because he wants to be buried near the Temple Mount.
Israel is unlikely to tolerate granting such a request, but will have to
worry about riots if any other spot but Jerusalem is chosen.

It's only fitting that Arafat, who has been one of the most destructive
forces for Israel in its history, cause problems for the Jewish ...
