SPU alumni celebrate Sardar Patel's birth anniversary

The Sardar Patel University Alumni group in United States celebrated the
birth anniversary of the late Indian leader Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at its
annual convention October 30 at the Ramada Inn in North Brunswick, New
Jersey.
Dr R D Patel, former vice chancellor of the university, was the chief
guest. Other guests included religious figures from the Bochasanwasi Akshar
Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha in Edison, New Jersey.
A highlight of the programme was the 'Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Photo
Exhibition,' which included about 150 rare photographs by photographer and
