Jamie Foxx's portrayal of the late Ray Charles in the recently released
biopic "Ray" has been described as much more than mere imitation. Reviewers
have said that Foxx appears to be channeling Charles- his walk, his speech
patterns, and the physical movements that we all grew accustomed to when
watching him perform.
No one in Cleveland can attest to the accuracy of Foxx's portrayal more
than 87-year old Sid Feller of Orange Village who worked with Charles for
over 30 years. Their collaboration began in 1959 when Feller was working
for ABC-Paramount Records ...
