KUANTAN, Wed. - Areas on the southeast coast from here to Kota Tinggi, Johor, have been put on flood alert following heavy rains over the past few days.
The rains came after almost a week of dry weather that followed a major flood in the east coast earlier this month.
Pahang Meteorological Services Department officer Sazalina Kamaruddin said heavy rain was expected until the monsoon season ends next month.
