ADELAIDE, Dec 27 AAP - Australia's highest profile asylum seekers - the Bakhtiari family
- today pleaded to be given enough time to say goodbye to their Australian friends as
they remained in limbo awaiting deportation to Pakistan.
Ali and Roqia Bakhtiari and their six children face deportation from Australia after
their legal bids over four years failed to secure refugee status.
The family claims to be Afghani, but the government says they are from Pakistan.
