Fed: Look for sustainable seafood options at Xmas: Dems
CANBERRA, Dec 24 AAP - People enjoying seafood on Christmas Day should also push for
a serve of sustainability for the nation's fisheries, the Australian Democrats said today.
Democrats' fisheries spokesman Brian Greig said 16 of Australia's most valuable commercial
fisheries were already over-fished, with the future of other fisheries hanging in the
balance.
He said people should seek out sustainable seafood alternatives on Christmas Day.
