Wednesday, December 15, 2004 -- Mekorot has pumped some 500 million cubic meters of water from Lake Kinneret into the National Water Carrier (NWC) this year - the largest amount since the national water network was established 40 years ago.

Mekorot director-general Ronen Wolfman said he expects the final amount to reach 525 m.cu.m. by the end of the year.
