Former National League umpire and Philadelphia native Eric Gregg simply
loves this time of year.

With the American and National Division championship series in full swing,
Gregg misses the days when he was behind the plate or patrolling the
diamond during a World Series game or a league championship series.

"This is the best time of the year for me ... Right now I would be making
plans to bring the family to the World Series," Gregg said. "I actually
loved this game. To me, it wasn't a job, it was a game. I had fun. Being an
