NSW: 26yo Wagga Wagga man charged with attempted murder
A 26-year-old New South Wales man has been charged with two counts of attempted murder
after two men were stabbed in a rural hospital's emergency ward.
The man, from Wagga Wagga in the state's southwest, stabbed a 53-year-old Lake Albert
man in the neck in an altercation at Wagga Wagga Base Hospital's accident and emergency
section about 2pm (AEDT) yesterday.
Police say a 33-year-old male hospital security guard who came to investigate the disturbance
was then stabbed in the back.
